"The Greater Buffalo-Niagara Regional Transportation Council has created a new way for travelers and other ride-seekers to find transportation alternatives. This secure and easy-to-use website provides information on smarter travel options - including carpooling, taking the bus/rail, and bicycling."
According to the third quarter 2007 GBNRTC Newsletter (p. 6), the site "…uses sophisticated GIS mapping systems showing ways to find compatible partners for commuter ride sharing that would save money and reduce emissions while presserving privacy. The web site also illustrates public transit and bicycling alternatives."
This site was launched on May 4 when Al Gore was in town.
